RAINBOW NOISE ENT. is a hot new record label that works closely with the GLBTQ community. I’m not a lesbian but I highly promote acceptance/understanding of uniqueness. The “gay-bashing” is yet another form of discrimination that this world has been recycling for centuries. Unfortunately, the movement is coming around very slow. I think that it will take more people like me who speak up for them and show adamant support to help push this movement along. Being completely comfortable with a person’s sexuality that is unlike yours is not easy if you only see them as gay, straight, or whatever. Acceptance is about seeing everything that person has to offer as simply a person alone, not as a gay person or Black person or whatever else.

Yung Snazz, a.k.a. Jasmine Lyons, member of The Team,  is a very close friend of mine and I been by her side since before the music and I’ll continue to support her, all of Rainbow Noise Ent. and any other local talent trying to get their voice heard. Check out the artists of this hot new label and their official release of the video “Imma Homo.”

Look past the color of someone’s skin, their sexual orientation, their music or style of clothing preference and see them as a person with dreams and aspirations who also has feelings and just want to be accepted which no one can deny is a common desire of us all.

“RainbowNoise is an entertainment group where lesbian and gay performers have the freedom to make noise.”

Congrats on making it on World Star Hip Hop. Stay up Rainbow Noise Ent.!

Ne-Yo Gives Back!

Some people pray, others give shout outs, and most, unfortunately, do nothing. R & B sensation, Ne-Yo paid a visit to Nagoya, Japan this past week to show his support and love to the people affected by the tragic tsunami and earthquake that recked many homes very recently. He performed and did charity work to help with the relief work.

Hopefully more people will follow his lead and those that regularly give back, famous or not, and lend a helping hand to others who are less fortunate. It’s good karma.

Official video will be released March 31, 2011 and will feature Kanye West. Stay tuned!

The New Boyz came on to the entertainment scene with their hit song “You’re A Jerk” that topped many charts for several weeks. Well now the guys are back with this hit single off their new album Too Cool to Care which will be released May 10, 2011. Check out the behind the scenes video which also features Dev and The Cataracs.

This song will definitely be playing in the clubs for a while.. Now that you’ve seen the behind the scenes with the winners fromt he radio stations and all, check out the official video.

Chris Brown‘s new album, since Exclusive in 2008, is scheduled to be released in just a few weeks on March 22nd. The album will be called F.A.M.E. featuring the hit songs we’ve all heard “Look at Me Now,” “Deuces,” and “No Bullsh*t.” These songs have been in heavy rotation on the radio stations so hopefully his entire album is fire.. Fire Album = High Sales/Downloads. He has collaborated with several different artists for this album.

Blonde?! Some people are so crazed about him dyeing his hair blonde that the story made CNN. Seriously people? There isn’t enough wrong with the world that the only story you came up with was about this man’s hair?? We shake our heads in disgust. As a personal opinion, it’s an extreme look yet he pulls it off well.

Chris Brown’s site Mechanical Dummy is a great way to understand the creativity he’s working with. It features fashion, arts and culture, and music (not just from him). It’s nice to see that artists are not just about themselves and fame doesn’t totally consume them. Speaking of fame, the F.A.M.E. tour is going to start in Australia and I’m sure will make its way back to us here in the states. Get your tickets before they are sold out!

Featuring Chad Michael Murray from the hit TV series One Tree Hill, Alicia Keys shows the struggle of interracial relationships. Betraying family to follow your heart.. society giving dirty, unapproving looks.. the stares. Things have improved over the years but it is still hard for very many people to accept, and just Blacks and Whites but amongst Hispanics, Asians, Middle Easterns, etc. One day it won’t be so bad but in the meantime we can only progress a little at a time. Check out this video.. 🙂

From her performance in Tyler Perry’s Diary of a Mad Black Woman singing “Father Can You Hear Me” to her debut “Promise Ring” featuring Ciara to her latest single “I’ll Be There”… Miss Tiffany Evans is all grown up. Her voice is as beautiful as ever. Check out the video below!
