So of course we had to pay tribute to the remarkable artist and entertainer, Michael Jackson. Whether he was disliked or loved.. his message was simple: Spread Love. Producer, Ken Ehrlich told ET’s Kevin Frazier,

“The people that we picked to perform this 3D version of ‘Earth Song’ are the people that I really feel Michael would have wanted to be there — Celine Dion, who was always one of Michael’s favorites. Carrie Underwood, who we talked about the night that I met with him. Usher, who we know he loved. Smokey Robinson, his mentor. And Jennifer Hudson, who performed at the memorial service that we did, but was also someone that Michael really admired a lot.”

Lady Gaga with her heel-less heels and outrageous wardrobe presents “Pokerface” with a following performance with Elton John as they melded her song “Speechless” and his classic “Your Song” together in a performance that featured dueling pianos, and glitter-painted faces. This chick stands out for sure with her many many outfits… but the world loves her music regardless. Lady Gaga won two Grammys during the pre-televised ceremony but “didn’t get a chance to show her multitude of outrageous dresses during the primetime show, losing out on record, song and album of the year.”

Lil Wayne, Eminem, Drake and Travis Barker on the drums performing “Drop the World” and “Forever”

And finally, Beyonce. {smile}

performing Grammy night where she collected six trophies, including song of the year for her anthem “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It).” Beyonce collected 5 Grammys in 2004 on her album “Dangerously in Love” and this year reached that milestone. She is the first to hit that mark twice. Congrats B! I thought her performance was amazing… a little bit too much at the end with the head banging lol.. but awesome nevertheless. She really put her all into this one and it was probably one of her best live performances in her career thus far. Check it out.. if you missed it.

If you didn’t here are some photos from the event… some were tragedies others were just wonderful.. Check ’em out.

First let’s start with Heidi Klum and husbad Seal. Nice pair, but I wasn’t too thrilled with her dress. It’s a beautiful design but the bottom of it was a bit much for me.

Here we are with Christina Hendricks wearing a Christian Siriano design. Apparently the wave ruffle design is a hot fashion in Paris. Sorry to any fashion fanatics reading this.. I don’t know the exact name or style of this pattern.

Next we have Mr. Gerard Butler… us ladies love this man.

I love this woman.. Sandra Bullock.. but this Bottega Veneta mess of a dress did not compliment her talent at all. Maybe next year Sandra…

One of my favorite looks however…. Halle Berry wearing a Kaufman Franco beauty. Guys what do you think??

Another one of my favorite looks that night… Olivia Wilde, wearing a Gucci dress with Tiffany & Co. jewelry and a Judith Leiber clutch…. caliente!! Supposedly she will be auctioning this dress for Haiti relief.. how nice.

Here we have Emily Blunt in a pink chiffon Dolce & Gabbana dress and her fiance John Krasinski who made his own statement by wearing a navy tux.

Next is Neil Patrick Harris and his boyfriend David Burtka… first of all, I didn’t know that Neil was homosexual.. that’s pretty cool though. I like him. Kudos dude!

A music powerhouse, Beyonce and Jay-Z looked very nice at the Golden Globe Awards.

Finally, Marion Cotillard, whose wearing a lingerie-inspired Christian Dior dress… very beautiful.

A Break?? Well overdue.

Our beloved Beyonce.. is finally taking a break. She has pretty much worked non-stop for so long and deserves to be the icon that she is. Her break is definitely well overdue and I wish her the best over the next six months of her sabbatical. Here’s what she had to say…

“It’s definitely time to take a break, to recharge my batteries. I’d like to take about six months and not go into the studio. I need to just live life, to be inspired by things again.

“I’m going to do random things. I want to go to restaurants, maybe take a class and see some movies and Broadway shows.

“I’ll spend more time with Daniel. He’s a wonderful kid, amazing, so smart. And I spoil him, so it’s a lot of work. He’s a 24-hour job.”

“I wrote out a contract with myself. I made a list of everything I want to do that has nothing to do with music. Well, some of it does. But I promised myself that I would not go back on tour or in the studio until I finished these things. It will be the hardest thing in the world for me to make myself not do an album and shoot a video and turn it in and say, ‘I’m ready!’ I already have all these melodies and ideas in my head. I have to tell myself, ‘Sit down! Sit down!’”

Beyonce Update

“Beyonce will release her new project in February. Heat was inspired by Knowles past performances featuring fire and also her love for the colors red and gold. She noted “So then we thought of making the bottle look like it’s on fire. I love antique bottles — my mother had a collection of them when I was growing up. I wanted something with an antique yet modern feeling.”

“The bottle, I felt, was a great mixture of the two. The scent is a concoction of Givaudan’s Claude Dir and Olivier Gillotin, has top notes of red vanilla orchid, magnolia, neroli and blush peach; a heart of honeysuckle nectar, almond macaroon and crème de musk, and a drydown of giant sequoia milkwood, tonka bean and amber. Heat will be available in three sizes — 1 oz. for $39; 1.7 oz. for $49, and 3.4 oz. for $59 — as well as a 6.8-oz. Gold Sparkling Body Lotion for $24.”

Something about this video is very serene and innocent. Personal favorite of mine and her co-star, Michael Ealy, is gorgeous. I couldn’t have picked a better candidate to be in this video with her.

There will always be beef in the industry.. that is nothing new.
Lowkey though I think Keri Hilson is being a bit timid like she
couldn’t see that people would perceive it the way they did. But
I give her props because she has the right mentality for this
industry. You can’t make it in this industry caring about what
other people will say… that’s why they’re HATERS!!
Lol.. keep it up Keri!

A newly released video from Beyonce’ album I Am… Sasha Fierce.

The song is hot… but the video is a little bit too much like her Single Ladies video… but rest assured that it’s still hot!
